Solo Skydive Jump.
This exhilarating and breathtaking activity offers you the opportunity to dive from a plane thousands of feet above the ground and complete a solo parachute jump. Training for a solo jump can take up to six hours as there is a lot of material including practical assignments to be completed. On your solo jump you take off from the airfield and climb to an altitude of about 3,200 feet which takes about four minutes. Once you reach the jump zone your jump master' will be preparing you for your jump. Assisted by the jump master' you position yourself for exit and await the 'GO' signal.
The time for sight seeing is over for the moment as you concentrate on adopting the body position for the dive, something you will have repeatedly practiced in your training. Your main parachute is automatically opened seconds later by the static line' and once your checks are complete you have time to check out the birds eye view from 3,000ft, a unique view that only a parachutist will know and appreciate. As you descend you navigate your parachute back to a target landing area and after landing you will have time to reflect on all that has passed. Training courses are held every Saturday.
