Dublin Tasting Trail
A fantastic success in the last year is the launch of our Dublin Tasting Trails.
Enjoyed by visitors and many Irish people alike, our experienced and knowledgeable guides will open your eyes to the very best Irish and international food. We visit bread shops, food halls, street markets, cheesemongers, fishmongers, butchers, bakers and lots more. Best of all you’ll meet people whose families have been in the food business for generations and still produce wonderful food. And we also meet those bringing new international tastes and food ideas to the Irish table.
This is a gentle 2_ hour stroll with lots of stops and frequent, generous tastings along the way. And we point out some good places for lunch, dinner or a pint, though after all the tastings it’s unlikely you’ll need lunch. You’ll soak in the history and culture of the city while enjoying delicious foods in historic neighbourhoods, off the beaten track and all within a stone’s throw of the city centre.
Even if you know Dublin well, our Tasting Trail will show you a surprising range of food outlets you’ve never come across before.
Roisin, Pamela and Eveleen all have a background in food and love to share their knowledge of the city and its food. They’ll make your Tasting Trail great fun and really special.
Our Tasting Trails are a pleasant walk and suitable for anyone who is reasonably fit. We welcome people in wheelchairs and as our groups are small there is no problem accommodating them. Tasting Trails are not suitable for children under 15.
Venue: All our Tasting Trails start and end at a central spot in the city centre.
Times and dates: Tasting Trails run most Fridays from 10 am to 12.30 pm and on Saturdays, depending on demand.
