Andrew Rudd has turned a life long passion for food into a successful and expanding company, which primarily imports and distributes premium food products. Andrew features regularly on TV3's Ireland AM show and is working on a number of exciting new TV projects, including a nationwide cookery roadshow with Siemens (kitchen appliances) and his new bespoke cookery classes.
Depending on the number of bookings, the classes are held in either Housework's (kitchen showrooms) on Upper Erne Street or in Andrew's apartment in Ballsbridge. Andrew is soon launching his new Andrew Rudd range of gourmet foods, which include olive oil, bbq sauce, and salad dressings.
Who would it suit and what you will learn? This new cookery course is suitable for the complete beginner or the keen amateur; we can cater for all levels of experience or lack of experience. The class will begin with a short introduction to the content of the evening. We will then prepare a number of dishes. You will learn how to manage your time, buy your ingredients, organise your kitchen and to know what equipment and utensils to have. The evening continues with a variety of short demonstrations, practical cookery sessions, discussions and tastings. The recipes to be featured are very straightforward and easy to prepare. During the course of the evening, you will get the chance to sit down and enjoy the dishes that have been prepared, accompanied by some great wine.
Class Format: We will prepare and cook 9 different dishes, providing you with the ideas and the confidence to prepare a three-course meal; starters, main courses and pudding...
